Experience

I graduated as the valedictorian of my high school, and went on to attend Swarthmore College. There, I graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Biology. I then attended Brandeis University, where I obtained a master's degree in Software Engineering. During the following decade, I went on to work as a derivatives trader and as a professor of probability, statistics, and decision making. I put my deep knowledge of the sciences to work as I tutor by focusing on optimization. As every student learns in a different way, I take pride in developing a unique process for each student. I model creativity and the benefits of a strong work ethic, and I strive to instill a similar attitude in my students. I have over a thousand hours of experience in teaching and tutoring, and my software engineering skills allow me to create programs that help my students achieve their academic goals. I am able to tutor students of all ages in a wide variety of math courses, including Algebra, Calculus, Statistics, and everything in between. I also love to teach computer science and programming languages like C++ and Java. In my free time, I like to play board games, card games, play tennis, and ski.
